My name is Jasmine and I'm a front-end web developer with an interest in Accessibilty and User Experience.

This website was created from scratch. The main CSS and HTML is done by me with a few jQuery plugins from other sources. I plan to use this site to display my skills and test out new things I have learned. As I grow and learn new skills this website will update and grow along with me.

This is a fully responsive site that uses HTML5, PHP, CSS, jQuery and responsive images. On the navigation bar there is a toggle button to toggle a light and dark mode. Some readers prefer light text on dark backgrounds and others prefer light text on dark backgrounds. Last time I looked into it, it was about a 50-50 split on which was easier for people to read.

The font is Sans-serif with a line-height of 140% for improved readibility on screens. The font-size of this site is determined by the default browser or device settings that people view this from for improved accessibility.

Coming up with a design was difficult as my original concept was vague due to not having a clear idea of what content to use for my website. I also found a bit of difficulty in choosing what colors I wanted for this website.
